About

1150 CKOC is a Canadian radio station based in Hamilton, Ontario, and is one of Canada’s most iconic radio stations, with roots tracing back to May 1, 1922. As the second-oldest station in the country and the oldest English-language broadcaster, it was originally launched by Herb Slack and George Crawford of Wentworth Radio and Auto Supply to help boost radio sales. After decades of musical programming, CKOC transitioned to a sports format in 2015 under the TSN Radio banner. This shifted again in 2021, when it became BNN Bloomberg Radio. In June 2024, CINA Media Group, headed by Neeti Prakash Ray, acquired the station and revived its classic hits format in August.

Now centered on timeless tracks from the '70s and '80s, 1150 CKOC continues to honor its rich heritage while reconnecting with Hamilton listeners.
