Country 101.1 (CKBY-FM) is a Smiths Falls, Ontario-based radio station broadcasting at 101.1 FM and specializing in country music. Owned by Rogers Radio, part of Rogers Sports & Media, it first went on air on January 20, 1969. From December 2020 to October 2023, the station shifted to a news, talk format under the “CityNews 101.1” brand. On October 26, 2023, it returned to its country roots, bringing back its familiar identity and music style. The playlist combines today’s chart-topping tracks with timeless country favorites, positioning the station as a leading voice for fans in Ottawa and surrounding communities.
