Pete 99.7

Pete 99.7 (CKPT-FM) is a radio station in Peterborough, Ontario, broadcasting on 99.7 FM.

It began on December 1, 1959, at 1420 AM, with the “PT” in its call sign honoring its hometown. In 2008, it moved to 99.7 FM and adopted the adult contemporary format “Energy 99.3.” Later rebranded as “Move 99.7” in 2020 under Bell Media, it continued playing pop and adult hits. In February 2024, Bell Media sold the station to Durham Radio. The “Move” brand ended on May 5, 2025. A week later, on May 12, it relaunched as “Pete 99.7” — “Peterborough’s Playlist” — featuring a vibrant mix of hits from the 1980s to today, shaped by local listener feedback.
