    On July 27, 2026, My Broadcasting Corporation rebranded Simcoe’s Oldies 99.7 as 99.7 WOW FM. On paper, it was a simple name change. Hearing MARRS’s “Pump Up the Volume” followed shortly by R.E.M. and Milli Vanilli was wonderfully unpredictable. The DJs kept banter brief and local, making the station practical for work or driving around the county without feeling like a total time warp.
