Fairchild Radio 94.7 (CHKF-FM) is a multicultural broadcaster based in Calgary, Alberta, owned by the Fairchild Group and launched in November 1998. Since its debut, the station has embraced the mission of serving Calgary’s diverse ethnic communities while preserving their languages and cultural identity. Over the years, its programming has expanded to include more than twenty languages. A significant portion of the schedule is dedicated to Cantonese, particularly during daytime hours, while evenings and weekends bring shows in Khmer, Croatian, Filipino, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Laotian, Macedonian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Urdu, Vietnamese, and more.
