Viva 99.9Viva 99.9 Amqui (CFVM-FM) is a French-language radio station broadcasting from Amqui, Quebec on 99.9 FM. Today, the station is part of the Viva network and is owned by the media company Arsenal Media.

It began its history on March 31, 1980, then still in the AM band on 1220. At first, the airwaves were partially formed by the content of the sister station CFLP in Rimouski, with about five hours of local programming daily. In 2003, CFVM moved to FM and continued to adapt to the changing tastes of listeners. Between 2005 and 2011, the radio station changed its appearance several times: from Boom FM to RockDétente and then to Rouge FM. In early 2024, the previous owner Bell Media announced the sale of the station, and on April 22, 2025, it was officially relaunched under the new name Viva 99.9 Amqui, opening a new page in its history.

Now part of the Viva network, the station embraces a refreshed identity while honoring its deep roots in the region’s radio history.
