K-97 (CIRK-FM) is a radio station, located in Edmonton, Alberta, and broadcasts at 97.3 FM, with a Classic Rock format. Owned by Stingray Group, it is a very popular radio in the Edmonton market and has in its staff talented announcers, who have been working for many years.
CIRK-FM was founded at 1949 as an FM simulcast of CJCA, then in 1975 it flipped to the current call sign and frequency, and in 1979 began broadcasting under the brand K-97.
This station has several rebroadcasters, working in Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Saskatchewan.
