About

OV 103.9 (CKOV-FM) is a Kelowna radio station in British Columbia, playing iconic hits from the 1970s.

It launched on September 29, 2008, as CJUI-FM ("103.9 The Juice") with an adult hits format. In 2017, Vista sold the station to Avenue Radio Ltd., which rebranded it as Okanagan Oldies 103.9 (CKOO-FM). After a brief shutdown due to bankruptcy in 2020, the station returned in 2021 as "103.9 The Lake," shifting to soft rock. On April 1, 2024, it was acquired by the Jim Pattison Group and rebranded the next day as OV 103.9, focusing on 1970s legends like Elton John and Fleetwood Mac, while also offering local news and events for listeners 50+.

By combining musical nostalgia with timely local content, the station continues to resonate with listeners who value both familiarity and relevance.
