Launched on July 8, 1998, it started as a rebroadcaster for Woodstock's CJCJ before transitioning to independent programming in April 2000. On May 18, 2021, during Bell Media’s format overhaul, the station adopted the "Bounce" brand with an adult hits format. Following the announcement of its sale to Maritime Broadcasting System (MBS) in February 2024, the station rebranded on April 8, 2025, as 93.5 The Wave, shifting to a classic hits format.
