About

590 Summit (CFTK) is a radio station based in Terrace, British Columbia, broadcasting on the 590 AM frequency. The station began operations on August 1, 1960, originally airing at 1140 AM before moving to 590 AM in 1963. Throughout its history, the station has experienced multiple rebrands and format changes. It was known for years as "EZ Rock" with an adult contemporary playlist, later switching to an adult hits format under the "Bounce 590" brand. On April 14, 2025, following its acquisition by Vista Radio, the station adopted a new name—590 Summit—and shifted to a classic hits format featuring standout tracks from the 1970s to the early 2000s.

Bringing together memorable hits and a sense of nostalgia, the station now offers a renewed listening experience for audiences in Terrace and surrounding communities.
